Due to drastic loss of habitats over the past decades and increasing developmental pressures, several bird species are facing extreme risk of extinction in the wild. The International Union for Conservation of Nature categorizes these as CR (Critically endangered) in the IUCN Red List based of parameters like decline in population, reduction across a geographic range and probability rate of extinction amonst others. 

This seemed like a good challenge as an infographic due to the complexity of information and details I could decide to incorporate. This was a 2 week classroom project on 'Visual Thinking' conducted by Dr. Tridha Gajjar at National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad.
